Aspecta as Platinum Partner at AWS Cloud Day Prague 2024

On 23.10.2024 another edition of AWS Cloud Day Prague took place. This year's event brought together experts and business leaders from across Central and Eastern Europe to discuss the latest innovations in cloud, AI applications and digital transformation. We've gone from being a regular attendee to a major partner in just one year, and we were thrilled to stand alongside the big companies and showcase our expertise.

Rapid growth and recognition as an AWS Advanced Partner

Our collaboration with AWS has been ongoing for several years, with AWS technologies playing a key role in many our biggest projects. This partnership has now evolved into a formal alliance, with Aspecta moving from newcomer status to the level of Advanced Partner AWS.

Motivated by our impressions of the 2023 event, where we attended as visitors, we realised the huge potential of AWS Cloud Day as a platform to demonstrate our expertise. AWS Cloud Day Prague 2024 provided us with an excellent opportunity to present our unique solutions to industry experts and key decision makers. This allowed us to not only showcase our capabilities, but also gain invaluable insights into new trends and future opportunities in the industry.

Strengthening your digital journey

The theme of our stand "Empowering Your Digital Journey" (Strengthening Your Digital Journey) highlighted Aspecta's three core offerings: AI, digitization and cloud solutions (FinOps, cloud migration, cloud transition and VMware to cloud).

The main attraction was our AI RADAR - an interactive tool developed specifically for AWS Cloud Day. AI RADAR provides rapid inspiration for deploying cloud, AI and digitalisation solutions and offers organisations an efficient way to identify potential areas for transformation and innovation.

Through a quick, tailored online questionnaire, visitors could enter their role, industry and goals, which AI RADAR used to generate custom insights and actionable recommendations. AI RADAR highlighted our commitment to delivering real value to businesses through advanced cloud and AI technologies, as well as our deep expertise in delivering high-impact client solutions.

Keynote: Transitioning from VMware to Cloud Native

Our presentation "Adapting Organizations from VMware to Cloud Native" was led by our customer solution architect Ivan Krištek, who. The presentation reflected on the current situation in the VMware context and addressed strategic benefits and operational efficiencies migrations from VMware to cloud native solutions.

Highlighting real client success stories - including our ongoing work with Volkswagen - we highlighted how cloud-native infrastructure could enable large organisations to achieve greater agility, cost-effectiveness and resilience in today's competitive environment. From enterprise architects to IT managers, our audience gained actionable insights on how cloud-native adoption could translate into real benefits for their organizations.

Networking Highlights: connecting with industry leaders and innovators

AWS Cloud Day Prague offered invaluable networking and knowledge sharing opportunities, with a diverse mix of attendees that included startup founders, business leaders, AWS representatives, and even competitors.

Each interaction helped us confirm the importance of cloud technologies in transforming business operations and we were able to gain new insights and knowledge about the evolving environment. Several of these conversations are already developing into promising partnerships as we continue to build and expand on the contacts made at the event.
